Eminem Headline’s Casio G-Shock 30th Anniversary Celebration
Last week, Casio G-Shock celebrated their 30th Anniversary celebration with a raucous party featuring three new and exclusive watches including the MTG, Rangeman and GDX690. The night included a show stopping performance by Eminem including tracks “Criminal”, “Lose Yourself”, “Wont Back Down”, “Cleaning Out My Closet” and “Love The Way You Lie” among other hits. As always, the legendary rapper never ceased to impress and move the audience.
In attendance were special guests James Marsden, Jessica Stam and Brook Lopez, who served as MC’s of sorts and helped showcase the newest offerings from G-Shock during the press press conference. During the evening hors d’oeuvres and cocktails circulated among press and guests. And, at the after-party DJ Mick Boogie spun fabulous tunes for guests like Fabolous, Melanie Fiona, Cynthia Rowley, Rebecca Minkoff. These guests mostly mingled in the very exclusive VIP area.
The GDX6900 completely revamps the iconic G-SHOCK classic, the 6900, making this a new favorite and almost 10% larger than its predecessor. The impressive Rangeman, a military inspired timepiece, was also introduced as a piece that is designed to withstand natural elements. Supermodel Jessica Stam introduced the fashionable BA110, BA111 and BA112 timepieces, all of which come in nine colors and boast a layered 3D metallic face.
Building anticipation, the pinnacle of the event came with the introduction of new luxury timepieces from G-SHOCK: the metal twisted MT-G Collection. The MT-G, Metal Twisted G-SHOCK collection is a completely new timepiece is the epitome of modern wrist couture.
