Fashion Types Bring their Shopping Game & Raise $3.4M for Charity
This Saturday, the Hamptons’ biggest shopping event for the charitable one percent, kicked off at its usual location in Water Mills and raised $3.4 million. The money raised will benefit the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund’s (OCRF) 18th annual Super Saturday event which was hosted Donna Karan and Kelly Ripa, saw deals from nearly 150 brands including Donna Karan,Diane von Furstenberg, Ralph Lauren, Vince, Alexis Bittar, Bonpoint, Henri Bendel, Milly, Theory, Elie Tahari, alice + olivia, Scoop NYC, Vilebrequin, Kiehl’s Since 1851, L’AGENCE, Calypso St. Barth, Shoshanna and Zimmerman. In addition to shopping guests had to the opportunity to enter raffles filled with luxury items.
Additionally, as usual guests indulge on light bites from Sant Ambroeus, Brancott Estate’s Flight Song wine bar and massage parlor, and tray passed service from FIJIWater, along with a slew of family friendly activities. This year activities included: PRIV’s Braid Bar, psychic readings with Betsy Wahmann, the DKNY Psychedelic Photobooth, Alex and AniCharity By Designmanicures, beauty touch-ups by Tre’StiQue, dream interpretations by Casper, floral crown making with B Floral, Caress hand treatments, TheRealRealluxury design challengeKids enjoyed the Micro Kickboard obstacle course, the Space East arcade,arts & crafts at Camp Divalyssious,t-shirt designing at the Stitched Fashion Camp and tried the newest games in the Hasbro interactive tent. It also included kid friendly games including carousel rides and so much more. And of course, as its a shopping event in the Hamptons the event also featured a lot of celebrity spotting.
