Revelers Took Over The Hampton’s Sound Waves @ The House with Cadillac
As a New Yorker, I’ve never gotten around to getting a license. I’ve never felt the need to get one
but most importantly I am a danger to the road. So, when I received an invitation to attend a brunch/discussion about art, design and fashion, at Montauk Beach House from Cadillac, I didn’t know what to make of it. I mean it seem like a good match. Melody Lee, director of brand and reputation strategy for Cadillac, explained “partnering with the Montauk Beach House is a natural fit; both are American luxury brands elevated by beauty, style and design.”
As you would expect my interest was piqued. The event promise a unique experience with lots of sun, music, pool action and even a fashion show. Naturally, the adventurous gal, that I am, I decided to go. So glad that I did.
At the brunch I learned about Cadillac’s new initiatives including their push for sustainable design. And of course I also learned about their creative process including the process of creating cars that speak to the American consumer.
After the discussion, I joined the group of sunbathers at the pool house. There we heard the sounds of DJ Vince Clarke of Depeche Mode, Yaz, VCMG, and Erasure fam, all of which were on the turn tables. When the DJ’s took a break Cherrytree, and Natalia Kills serenaded pool-goers. The evening ended with a fashion show from designer Milly.
Sounds like a blast right? And it was. If you want to see it for yourself. The “Sound Waves @ The House,” will host a series of events throughout the summer where attendees can expect great music and of course Hamptons jetsetters. All events in the series are complimentary and by invitation-only. To find out more about Sound Waves @ The House check out the company’s facebook.
