Fab Eats: Sticky’s Finger Joint
We recently popped into NYC’s “first variety gourmet chicken finger restaurant” (yes, we have one of those now) and are trying hard not to salivate just at the thought of our experience there. But boy, TFR readers, are we excited to share this fab find with you. Prepare to be amazed at just how delish (and creative) chicken fingers can be. Without further ado, enter: Sticky’s Finger Joint.
The ultimate game changer when it comes to chicken fingers? The Wasabi Finger. Order it crunchy and savor the tender, buttermilk marinated meat on the inside contrasted with its crisp crust of panko, ginger, and seaweed flakes on the outside. If you’re at all a fan of a little spice, you’ll want to slurp up the special wasabi aioli dipping sauce that Sticky’s has concocted. Two words: major nomz.
The garnish itself is just gorgeous, no? If you’re craving something on the sweet side, give The Salted Caramel Pretzel a whirl – it’s exactly as it sounds… a crushed pretzel breading paired with a salted caramel drizzle.
Now… what to wear? Sticky’s is low-key, boasts a single wall-unit AC, and in short, only seats a few. Whether you plan on snagging one of those seats or getting your order to go before heading to nearby Washington Square Park, we’ve got just the ensemble to keep you cool and relaxed chic while you enjoy the best chicken finger you’ve probably ever had.
Sticky’s Finger Joint is located at 31 West 8th Street.
