Fancy Folks Celebrate Alexandra Champalimaud’s First Fabric Line The Comptoirs Collection
Our evenings are usually spent running through the city to attend various events. As you would imagine we’ve attended LOTS of parties (hard life, we know). As a result, we’re not easily surprised by a shindig. Still, we were blown away by interior designer Alexandra Champalimaud’s recent celebration for her first fabric line The Comptoirs Collection.
Perfectly executed, the celebration, which was held at Elizabeth Street Garden, felt like a summer wonderland. The rarefied group of impeccably dressed ladies and gents shuffled through the summer garden in style. Upon arrival they were greeted with a lantern lit pathway staggered with dress forms and as they walked they noticed fabric swatches from the collection hanging from trees serving as gorgeous ornaments. If that wasn’t impressive enough, a gazebo served as a bar. In the elegant bar a Parisian mixologists from the Experimental Cocktail Club whipped hydrating (and delicious) cocktails. Yes, it was that fancy.
The party continued at Amy Sacco’s new nightclub No.8, sponsored by V&M (Vintage & Modern).
