On The Scene: ADCOLOR Names its Best Class for 2014
Recently, ADCOLOR, an organization committed to creating diversity in marketing fields hosted an intimate event at Time Warner Center to nominate outstanding candidate who made an impact in their respective fields. The event which was hosted by CNN’s Don Lemon, named Judy A. Smith,as in the woman who inspired Kerry Washington’s Olivia Pope, and Charles King, a Partner/Agent in the Motion Picture Department at William Morris Endeavor Entertainment (WME), as the 2014 Catalysts honorees. It also named Anthony Watson, as the 2014 Advocate honoree. “The ADCOLOR® Board of Directors and Advisory Board are honored to recognize the extraordinary achievements of this year’s honorees – both within their respective industries and beyond,” explained Tiffany R. Warren, Founder and President of ADCOLOR® and SVP, Chief Diversity Officer, Omnicom Group.
The evening saw a slew of names (one of whom went to college with this editor) from many fields receive nominations to many of the categories. The ADCOLOR Awards will take place on September 20, 2014, at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. The ADCOLOR Awards are the final event in the ADCOLOR Awards and Industry Conference, September 17-20, 2014, at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.
