New Hamptons Hotspot: HARBOR Restaurant & Lounge

With summer in full swing, we know a weekend or two that are going to involve getaways to Montauk. Newcomer to the food and drink scene HARBOR is full of personality and options to choose from across its food and drink menus… and even activities (patrons can play ping-pong and bocce during the day). Executive Chef Roy Wohlars brings fresh fare with a twist (described as Mediterranean cuisine with an Australian spin) to the menu with dishes like Seared Yellowfin Tuna with Za’Atar, Wild Black Sea Bass Crudo with Grapefruit and Breakfast Radish, Shrimp Wood-fired Pizza, and more. On the beverage side, cocktails have a playful punch and kitschy names to match, like Jamo’s Giant Peach Bellini, The Burnt Freckle Pelimino and the Sama Sama Spritzer.

As for the venue, we think the photos can speak for themselves. Owner Jamo Willis designed the space with inspiration from beach getaway destinations like Australia, Capri, and St. Tropez. HARBOR is conveniently located dockside in the Montauk Marina. It will host big open grill-outs on Saturday afternoons this summer, in case you needed another reason to lounge around, take it easy, and soak up the sun with delicious bites within arm’s reach.
