Read on, enjoy, and always remember the SPF. Here’s to a beautiful summer!

IMAGE Skincare Prevention Daily Ultimate Protection Moisturizer - SPF 50

We don’t write about products that are only sold professionally unless we truly believe in them - and IMAGE Skincare fits the bill. The brand’s products are sold only to licensed skin care professionals by licensed skin care professionals, so the next time you see your go-to gal for a treatment, see how you can get your hands on the Prevention Daily Ultimate Protection Moisturizer with SPF 50. Not all SPF moisturizers are created equal… we’ve all had our share of experience with greasy feeling textures, overly strong scented formulas, etc. We LOVE the way this feels on our skin - it’s paraben free and contains plant-derived stem cells to extend the life of our own skin’s stem cells, which helps to delay aging effects of the sun. The moisturizer leaves skin feeling remarkably soft in the process, with a very subtle, fresh fragrance.

Osmosis Skincare Clear Activating Mist

Celebrity estheticians call it a “magical water.” Supermodel Karolina Kurkova backs it, revealing in an interview that among her skincare secrets to stay hydrated while jetsetting, “I like to have some sort of a spritzer, like Osmosis’s hydrating water…”

There are lots of technical terms that describe this harmonized water, but what you need to know is that it contains a collection of harmonic frequencies in its water molecules that ultimately aid in offering antibacterial, anti-viral, and skin nourishing properties.

You can use it regularly as part of your skincare routine, and throughout the day for a quick way to revitalize skin.

Bioelements Oil Control Mattifier

This lightweight creme works great if you need help trying to keep an oily t-zone tame. Made with Chinese peony, saw palmetto, sesame seed, and thyme, it feels soothing when applied to skin and has a slightly herbal fragrance. You can either apply a thin layer to your entire face or just in particularly oily areas -- this mattifying treatment also doubles as a nice makeup primer.

Artis Fluenta Oval 8 Brush

We were recently introduced to the world of Artis by its founder (and former MAC Senior Executive), Matthew Waitesmith while at Bergdorf Goodman. Trust us when we say you’ll never see or use makeup brushes the same way again -- and that’s a good thing. Artis brushes are made exclusively with CosmeFibre, a specially engineered fiber made for applying makeup products. Their ergonomic and quirky design is the result of the brand’s research and insights into designing a brush that is meant for consumers doing their own makeup at home. Each brush contains hundreds of thousands of these fibers that are luxuriously soft on skin and extraordinarly effective - the position of the fibers allows the brush to grab powders and foundations and transfer them to skin most evenly. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so here’s what we really mean…

The stroke with the most even, concentrated application of color was created by using an Artis brush dipped in powder once. Isn’t the difference just amazing? The other strokes were created by your typical paintbrush-like makeup brush that required multiple applications of powder, and even then the coverage didn’t come close.

100% Pure Cheek and Lip Tint

A solution that is as close to all natural as the natural flush we all covet… this multi-use cheek and lip tint contains a concoction of plant-based ingredients that all sound delicious, including cranberry, pomegranate, blackberry, blueberry, raspberry, plum, strawberry, peach, and apricot pigments (that’s not even the full list!). Cocoa and shea butter ensure that as you blend the tint into skin, it’s never sticky. For a more concentrated flush (our preferred approach), we apply the tint directly to cheeks and pat gently with fingers to blend.

Paula’s Choice Sunscreen Spray Broad Spectrum SPF 43

We’re all about the SPF all year round, but it’s only fitting that this new product from Paula’s Choice has arrived in time for summer. We recently attended the brand’s 20th anniversary celebration event, where founder Paula Begoun could not emphasize enough the importance of SPF in a daily skincare routine. Her own expert tip is that she always remembers to apply SPF to her hands (where age typically shows, it certainly doesn’t for the 61-year-old beauty and brains behind Paula’s Choice).

One of the items we were gifted was this new sunscreen spray - which we used immediately after the event as we were en route to our next destination. It’s a lightweight spray that absorbs oh-so-quickly into skin with a nozzle designed to allow spraying from any angle (yes, it works upside down) so hard to reach places aren’t missed.

Malie Mango Butter Bun

What’s a butter bun, you ask? The newest luxe treatment to join you in the shower… it’s heat-activated by steam and warm water. Apply the bun directly to skin after cleansing for aromas of delicious tropical fruit cocktail and nourishment from mango seed, vitamin E, and cocoa butter.

It’s gentle enough to use on skin that is healing from sun burns, and lets you skip the step of having to use a moisturizer after the shower.

Neutrogena Naturals Fresh Cleansing + Makeup Remover

No matter what other cleansers we’ve tried that claim to remove all makeup, we find ourselves coming back to this one time and time again. So far, this cleanser is still the best one we’ve used that removes all traces of makeup from the day - even the harder to cleanse waterproof eyeliners and mascaras. When used thoroughly, there’s no need for a separate eye makeup remover (and one less step makes us happy). It’s a balancing act - skin is left feeling ultra clean, but Peruvian Tara Seed pumps up skin’s barrier to avoid stripping any moisture away during the cleansing process.

Origins Gloomaway Grapefruit Body Souffle

Who doesn’t love the smell of citrus in the summer? This grapefruit body souffle is a fluffy (but not yet whipped) moisturizer for the body that conditions skin for a soft finish and zero oily residue. We enjoy using it after showering at night as its grapefruit scent lingers for a few hours and makes skin feel ultra silky as we climb into bed.

SinfulColors Bombay Nights Appliques - Henna I Do

For us, doing our nails can often feel like a chore for how long it takes to DIY. But SinfulColors’ new Street Fusion Bombay Nights collection includes a limited-time nail applique set that features a henna design in vibrant gold and full of detail. We’re loving this tribal and opulent style for summer - and it lets us dress our nails up in a flash and move onto doing other things.
