This Is Happening: Marc Jacobs Makeup + Sephora
The man, the personality, the visionary… Marc Jacobs. We are psyched that later this summer, the designer’s makeup line will be available at Sephora (and Marc Jacobs stores) as Sephora’s first global product launch. This is the first time that Jacobs is partaking in a “mass-market collaboration” of this size, with his makeup collection to be comprised of over 120 different products – everything from nail polishes to concealers to suit every girl’s desire. And for the guys too – unisex products like lip balm and a brow tamer are among the collection.
When asked about this venture, the designer said, “I like the transformative qualities of fashion and fashion to me is not just clothing, it’s handbags, it’s shoes, it’s clothes, it’s hair, it’s makeup, it’s fragrance, it’s the whole ritual of making those choices, of enjoying the ritual, of making the choices that will tell the world who you want to be that day.”
