Hot! Gallery Salvatore Ferragamo Resort 2013

In a night of fashion firsts, Salvatore Ferragamo Resort 2013 was unveiled last night at The Louvre, the first fashion show in history to take place inside Paris’ iconic museum. Star-studded arrivals of over 500 guests (including Leighton Meester, Anna Della Russo, Fan Bing Bing, Nina Garcia, Hilary Swank, Freida Pinto, and more) flown in from around the world (wowza) added to the excitement and anticipation over seeing the “relaxed chic” collection.

Creative Director Massimiliano Giornetti showed how nude can go a long way… and how we’re not saying bye to fringe just yet. The models resembled the free spirited nature of the collection with their slightly boyish charm thanks to the mostly warm color palette and contour of textures fusing snakeskin and suede within ensembles. From the speckles on a pair of silver boots to the cross stitching on the sized-just-right handbags, Salvatore Ferragamo Resort 2013 left no details neglected. The result: the aforementioned “relaxed chic” – fashion at its finest quality but fashion that indeed looks comfortable!

Check out photos of the show’s A-lister turnout followed by shots of the runway action below.
