Hot! Kick of the Weekend with these Delicious Cocktails

Boss got you stressed? Had a rough week? If your answer is yes to either question – we’ve got a de-stressing solution for you. It obviously involves booze; after all alcohol makes everything better okay maybe that’s a stretch but it certainly helps. Kick of the weekend with these three delicious cocktail that involve very little work. Check out these drinks recipes from Appleton Estate Reserve whose rum are created in Jamaica. And, we know Jamaican people known how to party.

Appleton Reserve Fix
6-8 Mint leaves
½ oz Lemon juice (or 3 muddled lemon quarters)
¼ oz Grand Marnier
¼ oz Simple syrup
½ oz Pomegranate grenadine
2 oz Appleton Estate Reserve

Garnish: Mint sprig
Glass: Dbl old fashioned
Ice: Crushed ice

Preparation: Add all ingredients into your shaker by order of the recipe. Add one to two Kold Draft cubes and shake. Strain ingredients into your glass and top with crushed ice till its over flowing. Garnish with fragrant beautiful mint sprigs

Shake Down Highball
Muddled fresh berries
.5 Lemon juice
.75 Ginger agave nectar
2oz Appleton Estate Reserve
Top with soda

Garnish: 2 raspberries & 1 blackberry on a pick
Glass: Highball
Ice: Kold Draft or cubed ice

Preparation: Add the ingredients by order of the recipe to your shaker. Add four Kold Draft cubes and shake. Strain ingredients into a frozen coupe or martini glass. No garnish.

The Jamaicanite paired with
Blue Costello Cheese and Mango Chutney
1/2oz Lemon juice
Pink grapefruit ½ wheel
3/4oz Honey syrup (2-1 honey to water)
2 Dashes of Angostura Bitters
2 oz Appleton Estate Reserve
Garnish: No Garnish
Glass: Coupe or Martini
Ice: No Ice

Preparation: Add the ingredients by order of the recipe to your shaker. Add four Kold Draft cubes and shake. Strain ingredients into a frozen coupe or martini glass. No garnish.

Green mango chutney, Blue Costello cheese, Sourdough bread
