Belvedere Vodka Lemon Tea Brunch Kicks off Brooklyn Bon Appetit Pub Crawl
Yesterday, Belvedere Vodka celebrated the release of their unique and versatile new flavor Belvedere Lemon Tea. The brunch event, which kicked off the Brooklyn Bon Appetit (which officially starts today – get your tickets) pub crawl, was held at the new Williamsburg restaurant Isa.
Editor in Chief Adam Rapoport of Bon Appetit magazine commented: “We wanted to give [the pub crawl] a fresh feel. Brooklyn is where it’s all happening.”
Can we just say that the food and cocktails were absolutely delish?! A sausage dog laced with goat cheese and topped off with pickled mustard seeds, edamame, and mint was over-the-top impressive. Caviar bites also circulated the room, along with hummus and edible flowers on a delightful wafer. We were stuffed!
“I’m a huge fan of the Brooklyn food scene,” said Kathleen Lee from Talk Soup. “Things pop up every day, and they stay there. And in New York, that really means something.”
Fancy cocktails circulated the room in abundance – Belvedere elixirs laced with lovely herbs like thyme and mint: six cocktails in all. We found ourselves unable to escape the prowess of persistent servers who insisted on keeping our glasses filled to the brim and our plates overflowing with amazing eats. A single serving of the Belvedere Lemon Tea, unmixed, was equally as impressive, as the extravagant cocktails.
Belvedere Lemon Tea begins with a soft nose with inviting spring notes of cut grass, chamomile, green tea, and lemon grass. The palate continues with bright, fresh and buttery notes of ginger, malted black tea, and the sweetness of honeycomb, finishing creamy and mellow.
