Hot! How Aveda’s New Styling Creme Helped My Hair Act Right

SI14_25_r3_cropAs you might know I’ve stopped relaxing my hair but I still prefer straight hair because my curly hair just doesn’t look right. So, I spend a lot of time at the hair salon (also my happy place) getting blowouts. However, one of my struggle is that my hair gets really frizzy despite everything I try. Another one of my issues is that my blowouts don’t last as long as they did when I relaxed my hair regularly and my hair will often revert to its curly state if there’s just a bit of mist in the air. Naturally, I need products to combat the frizz and maintain my blowouts. Recently, the team from Aveda invited me to a blowout to try their new Smooth Infusion Naturally Straight creme. They promised me that it would maintain my blowout longer, it would make my hair naturally straight, and help loosen the curls so that it would help cut the time it take to blow dry my hair.  As you would imagine, I was skeptical but the product delivered. Unlike other products that I’ve recently tried, the hairstylist really worked the product into my hair. The result was that my hair was really smooth and there was a noticeable different in my curls. They were looser and just looked different.  So, blow drying my hair was easier. So, I was happy. What’s more humidity had no effect on my hair. The day after my blowout despite ideal conditions frizzy hair, I free of the fuzz baby.

The Aveda Smooth Infusion Naturally Straight work because it uses plant-derived fibers help create a locking layer to help hold the hair straight. The Organic Cassava Root helps form a barrier against even intense humidity. With continued use the hair is easier to manage because the creme progressively loosens curls. Straight styling becomes faster and easier. It’s safe for relaxed and color treated hair too! Horizontal_Progression_Global
