Gap Launches T Collection… and Getting Back to Basics
Remember the days when Gap ruled? When just about every style maker own a piece of clothing from them (confession: in H.S. I was called Gap princess because I owned so much Gap) but along the way Gap lost its way.
Luckily, it seems the retailer is getting “back to basics” by creating collections featuring minimal design paired with quality fabrics and great fit. Recently releasing the T collection, a series of comfortable slouchy tees including the The Now Tees, The Essential Tees, and The G Tees that are true to the Gap aesthetic (that many of us fell in love with). The tees are perfect for pairing with dresses, skirts, shorts, and rompers, or whatever else strikes your fancy.
The summer offerings, is also evidence of the “basic” direction. It includes printed espadrilles, maxi dresses, color denim, and of course tees. Here’s the look book.
