Bar III Rooftop Barbecue Showcases Fall Line
Yesterday, Bar III held a roof top barbecue event, in a Meatpacking district loft, to promote their Fall clothing line. The elegant loft overlooked the Hudson, which provided a serene backdrop, on a warm and sunny afternoon, to a party ushering in summer fun. Guests were treated to barbecue bites, including burger sliders, grilled baby corn, Coronas, and Perrier.
Bar III’s fall clothing line consisted of neutrals paired with subtle warm fall colors – rusts, deep blues, burnt oranges and muted yellows were sophisticatedly paired with ivories, browns, and greys. The collection was deeply influenced by Aztecan patterns and shapes. Geometric prints reminiscent of ancient Mexico peppered the collection along with amazing accessories filled with delightful surprises. A favorite of the accessory collection was a silver necklace with a beautiful beetle made of a shining, sparkling stone.
“The jewelry started in the fall, and the jewelry has caught on huge. It’s statement jewelry; everything is made to really grab your attention,” said Jake Hammel of Factory PR.
Other pieces to note were a silver double ring bearing a cross as well as a wonderfully gaudy clear plastic necklace adorned with stones of various colors, shapes, and sizes.
A relaxing sunny afternoon ended with a lovely goody bag containing one of Bar III’s signature jewelry pieces. Sweet!
