H&M Fall 2012 Look Book
If there’s one thing H&M is really really good at (and no we aren’t talking about their collabs) is translating trends into wearable pieces of clothing for the masses at ‘I don’t have to starve for a month go to get this piece’ prices. Don’t you think?
The fall 2012 offerings is ripe with sleek silhouettes resembling many of the looks from the Fall 2012 runway. There are harnesses (a ala Hervé Léger Fall 2012), very short shorts, peplums, slit skirts (as in Angelina Jolie right leg), varsity-style jackets, colorblock bags, printed pants, and metallics all looks that seem to have dominated the runway and the red-carpet.
“I love how there are so many options this fall, and ways to show the different shapes of your personality. The sleek and minimal pieces feel fresh and modern, and look so great when worn with the new textures, shapes and decorative touches that maximalism brings,” explained Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M’s Head of design.
We couldn’t agree more – what looks have you fallen for? We’ll start, we are completely head-over-heels in love with the metallic skirt and gloves.
