American Eagle Fall 2011

Last week (April 27), we stopped by the American Eagle Outfitters showroom to preview the wares schedule to hit stores this coming fall from this casual retailer. We’ve got to say, this collection is very grown-up, unlike previous collections we’ve previewed. Past collections have featured pieces, while darling and fun, more suitable for a younger demographic and a hosts of cool basics which in addition to being fairly affordable can serve as go to to pieces for everyone.

This upcoming collection, which we loved, features more structures pieces, darling jackets and best seen the ‘AE Black Trim Blazer ($69.50)’ and truly felt a more inclusive collection suitable for an older group of people. But, don’t worry, this collection still has the trademark (and very soft) tees and sweatpants which also happen to be the most amazing pants ever (and no joke).

As usual the accessories are outstanding with most retailing just under $20 and we were particularly impressed the selections of cross-body bags including the ‘AE Martine Mini Crossbody Bag ($19.50)’ and the ‘AE Gemma Bag ($19.50).’ Addition standouts include the ‘AE SideSip Bootie’ ($59.50)’, ‘AE Shirt Dress, $44.50′ but take a look and tells us what has piqued your interest.
