Cartier Celebrates the Launch of Juste Un Clou with a Massive Party
Cartier threw a massive (and we mean massive) bash to celebrate the launch of their Juste Un Clou collection. And, it was amazing. Not since the Target Kaleidoscopic have we attended a fete that has left us completely speechless. The party had: A-listers–in the form of Beyonce and Jay-Z (or so we are told as we didn’t see the couple); Cartier branded Champagne—yes, that’s a real thing; and a custom created nightclub in SoHo – we aren’t even exaggerating.
The night began at the Cartier Mansion located in Fifth Avenue, where the jet-set crowd including Charlotte Casiraghi, Glenda Bailey, Jason Wu, Arizona Muse, Karlie Kloss, and Chanel Iman, gathered to toast the newly launched collection. With the flashing lights from the army of photographers buzzing in the background, revelers (many of whom were coming from the Ferragamo Fifth Avenue Re-opening party) viewed a specially curated exhibition featuring a slew of show-stopping vintage Cartier pieces.
Following the viewing many of the revelers descended to Skylight SoHo for a VIP after party.The venue, which we’ve been to before, was completely transformed. It was a nightclub with marvelous couches, a dance floor, even a custom “bar menu.” As it was a nightclub the post-fête also included a performance from Jay-Z protege Rita Ora. Jay-Z along with Beyonce were on hand to cheer her on.
Juste Un Clou, is a collection of fine jewelry based on the original designs of Aldo Cipullo. Prices from the collection of rings and bracelets range from $2,175 to a whopping $34,650.
