Whiskey Lovers Party Like its Prohibition Times
On Wednesday night, whiskey drinkers descended Brooklyn’s Greenpoint to sample Cutty Sark‘s newly launched varietal. The cleverly named scotch whisky “Cutty Sark Prohibition Edition” or “Cutty Pro” that pays homage to its humble origins. “Cutty Sark Prohibition Edition is a bold new whisky for those who break boundaries and create their own identity – just as Captain McCoy did for Cutty Sark 80 years ago,” explained Jill Quady, Brand Manager of Cutty Sark during the celebration. “Cutty Sark is excited to honor Captain McCoy’s iconic and rebellious spirit in Brooklyn tonight.”
In addition to the free flowing whiskey specialty cocktails guests noshed on lite-bites from Roberta’s & Crif Dogs beverages from Jason Littrell of Critical Mass Events and Robert Krueger of Extra Fancy. And a special performances from Devonté “Dev” Hynes (also known as Blood Orange) and a musical stylings from Brendan Fallis.
