Robin Thicke Performs at EXPRESS Times Square Opening Party
EXPRESS tells Times Square: We are coming for you and we are here to stay. The retailer held a grand party this past Tuesday to celebrate their arrival. The party featured giveaways, a musical performance from Robin Thicke and many more activities. The store like surrounding shopping locations is massive and is carefully designed.
“It’s EXPRESS on steroids,” said Michael Weiss, the chairman and chief executive officer of EXPRESS of the 28,000 square feet. “This is an elevated, presentation where the homes for each category are much more defined. Our billboard, with 9,000 square feet of LED, is the biggest and highest-definition billboard in the whole of Times Square. You know nobody whispers in Times Square; they shout. And if you’re going to shout, you’d better be the loudest.”
Shoppers to the three floor store, will find a slick and modern shopping destination with swanky embellishments including French limestone floors, white brick walls, Carrera marble fixtures, crystal chandeliers and glass vitrines. Tech-lovers will find the store filled with products and services that enhance the shopping experience. Available on site are LED walls and screens, interactive iPads, mobile points of sale, and most importantly on-site charging stations.
The EXPRESS Times Square location (46th and Broadway) opens at 9am and like some of it neighbors (including include Forever 21, Superdry, and American Eagle) closes at 2am. Late night shopping and phone charging– sounds good to us.
