Hot! TGIF Cocktail Recipes of the Day: Easter Inspired Drinks

Celebrate the end of lent with a few Easter inspired cocktails. Today’s cocktail recipes are inspired by the religious holiday. Naturally, some of the recipes calls for eggs. Who says egg hunting is just for the kids?

The Hopping Bunny

Slice of Fresh Papaya
¼ oz. Agave Nectar
1 ¼ oz. Avión Añejo
½ oz. Aperol
½ oz. Orange Juice
¾ oz. Fresh Lime Juice
Garnish with Fresh Papaya

Directions: Add a slice of fresh papaya and agave nectar to your mixing glass. The amount of nectar you add depends on how sweet you like your cocktails, but usually about a teaspoon will do the trick. Muddle to release the papaya flavor. Add 1¼ ounces of Avión Añejo, ½ ounce each of Aperol and orange juice. Then, top them off with ¾ ounce fresh lime juice. Add ice and give it a good shake.

Strain over ice, and garnish with a fresh slice of papaya.

The Berry Bunny Colada

1 1/2 part SVEDKA Strawberry Colada
1 part fresh lemon juice
3/4 part triple sec
1/2 part egg white
1 small strawberry

Directions: Muddle one strawberry in a cocktail shaker. Combine remaining ingredients and shake dry without ice. Add ice, shake again and strain into a collins glass (filled with ice). Garnish with another strawberry.

Mango Daiquiri Scandal

1.5 oz. SMIRNOFF Sorbet Light Mango Passion Fruit
1 oz. Simple Syrup
1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
Garnish: Mango Wedge or Lime Wheel

Directions: Combine ingredients and serve. Garnish with mango wedge or Lime Wheel. * Calories-131; Carbohydrates-16.3 G; Protein-0 G;Fat-0 G Per 4.5 oz. serving*

SAPPHIRE FRESH

1 part BOMBAY SAPPHIRE gin
½ part Cointreau
1 ½ parts freshly squeezed Grapefruit Juice
Topped with Clear Lemonade

Directions: Build. Garnish with a Lime wedge.

MARTINI® Prosecco Floats

MARTINI® Prosecco
1 scoop raspberry sorbet or 1 scoop lemon sorbet
2 or 3 blueberries

Directions: Add raspberry or lemon sorbet to a chilled champagne flute and fill with MARTINI® Prosecco. Garnish with blueberries.

Cali Sunset by Caliche Rum

1 1/2 oz Caliche Rum
1 oz Fresh Pineapple Juice
1 Egg White
3/4 oz Lime Juice
1 tsp Powder Sugar
3 dashes Angostura Bitters
1 oz Chilled Club Soda.
Lime shavings for garnish

Directions: In a cocktail shaker combine the all the ingredients except for the club soda. Fill with ice and shake vigorously until the shaker is well frosted outside. Strain into an ice filled rocks glass. Garnish and serve.

Easter Fizz

1 oz. Alizé COCO Peach
1 oz. Gates of London Gin
1 oz. Orange Juice
½ oz. Chambord
½ oz. Vanilla Syrup
½ oz. Cream

Preparation: Dry shake, shake, strain into fizz glass, top with soda, garnish with orange twist flower. ** To recreate orange peel flower, cut orange peel with a peeler in a long continuous form, wrap around finger, secure with a toothpick**

Inn-uendo by Inniskillin

2 oz. Inniskillin Riesling Ice Wine
1 oz. Vodka
2 fresh strawberries

Directions: Muddle all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake with ice to chill. Strain over ice into a highball glass and top off with Tonic Water.

Pisco Sour

* Served at Nobu Restaurants

2oz Peruvian Pisco
1oz Fresh Lime Juice
1/2 oz Honey Syrup
1/2oz Egg White
3 Drops Angostura Bitters

Directions: Shake all the ingredients with ice Garnish with 3 drops of Angostura bitters.

 

Skinnygirl Bloody Mary

2 oz Skinnygirl Cucumber Vodka
2 oz low-sodium tomato juice
Splash of fresh lemon juice
Squeeze of fresh lime juice
Dash of Worcestershire sauce (to taste)
Dash of hot sauce
Sprinkle of celery salt
Lime, cucumber wheel and celery stalk for garnish

Directions: Combine ingredients over ice. Garnish with lime, cucumber and celery stalk.
