A Bevy of Celebrities Attend the Launch of Ferragamo’s Signorina
Our expectations were high for the launch celebration of Signorina, a “sophisticated, subtly cheeky, and fresh scent,” and the newest women’s fragrance from Ferragamo, especially because the launch for ATTIMO was insane and so amazing. And still we were pleasantly surprised by the bash.
The evening began with a private and intimate dinner at Palazzo Chupi, which was transformed for the evening’s fete (think a den of pink roses with the lovely scent filling the space)–in the West Village. Bianca Balti, the evening host, along with Rachel Chandler-Guinness, Alexandra Richards, Theodora Richards and Stella Schnabel, welcomed VIP attendees including Kate Mara, Piper Perabo, AnnaSophia Robb, Emma Roberts,Hannah Bronfman, Eugenia Silva, Lauren Remington Platt, and Jessica Hart (all were dressed by Ferragamo), with Italian wine flown in from the Ferragamo vineyards in Italy.
Following the dinner, held in the upper level, guests joined the phalanx of well-heeled revelers in the lower level of the swanky venue which was filled with gold and pink balloons. Downstairs party-goers noshed on a delicious selection of desserts including raspberry macarons, whiffed Signorina from models clad in pink dresses, and mingled amongst themselves as they waited for I Blame Coco to perform. The band fronted by Coco Summer (as in the daughter of Sting) belted a medley songs, for the first time to USA audiences, to the wall-to-wall attendees.
While the party is over, the celebration continues because on March 26, Ferragamo is set to launch a new website – The Girls About Town. The site will chronicle the “face of Signorina–Bianca Balti, along with Rachel Chandler-Guinness, Alexandra Richards, Theodora Richards, and Lauren Remington-Platt on their journeys and lifestyles as the quintessential Signorinas,” reads the release and will include daily content from the women. Additionally, when the site launches it will feature The Signorina Story, a Phil Pinto directed film.
