Jamie Chung Celebrates the Launch of Brancott Estate Flight Song
Sure it rained yesterday but at the Dream Downtown’s PHD rooftop lounge it felt like a beautiful rain-free spring day. The venue was transformed into an ethereal garden to celebrate the launch of Brancott Estate Flight Song. The evening’s host Jamie Chung, who was wearing a dress from Zara paired with a BCBG jacket and Alejandro Ingelmo heals, told us “we really wanted it to feel like spring so we did these picnic tables and flowers throughout,” of the fancy decor. As for playing host, for the evening she explained “Well, I am getting married, (fiancé Bryan Greenberg was also in attendance),“ she joked before adding “…but seriously, I really like the brand and I when heard about the low-calorie wines, I wanted to try them,” she mused. “I really enjoyed the flavor and the wines are really good. Clean, crisp and summery.”
And, Chung is on the money! The newest offerings, Brancott Estate Flight Song Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc and Brancott Estate Flight Song Marlborough Pinot Gris, are indeed light and crisp. Though light in calories flavor is not scarified. The reason lies in the harvesting process. In these varietals, the grapes are harvested early and closely to control the fermentation process and results with a wine that is are naturally lighter in alcohol and calories with a taste profile that is expressive, bright, fresh and lively with balanced natural acidity.
In addition to the delightful selection of wine, the evening included curated tunes from DJ Hannah Bronfman and a custom nail manicure bar. And guests were gifted with an Apolis tote designed in collaboration with Jamie for Flight Song.
