Hot! TGIF Cocktail Recipes of the Day: Oscar Recipes

Thank Goodness is Friday, indeed. Today we are doing a double whammy– to sets of cocktails. As you know today is not only National Margarita Day but this marks Friday before the Oscars are televised. Were celebs bring their fancy ensemble and we with drinks in hand judge them. Naturally, we are celebrating both. Here are your cocktail recipes for your Oscar party.

SVEDKA's Sparkling Playbook
1.5 parts SVEDKA Raspberry
2 parts champagne
1.5 parts sour mix
1 part white grape juice

Directions: Pour all ingredients except for champagne into a shaker. Shake and strain into a Collins glass over fresh ice. Top with champagne. Garnish with a grapefruit peel and raspberries.

TY KU Lincoln-Tini

2 oz TY KU Sake
1 oz TY KU Soju or vodka
Sliced Cucumber

Directions: Hard shake with ice

Gold & Silver Linings Playbook

2 parts Courvoisier® Gold
1 part Campari
1 part fresh lime juice
1 part fresh pineapple juice

Directions: Shake and strain into a rocks glass and serve over ice with an orange peel garnish.

Thorny Rose Red Blend Punch

1 bottle Thorny Rose Red Blend
16 oz fresh brewed black tea
8 oz Cognac
4 oz vanilla bean/ cinnamon syrup*
1 orange and 2 lemons cut into half moons
3 organic plums cut into half moons

Directions: Heat 12 oz (1.5 c) water to boiling point,immediately reduce to medium low heat, add two cinnamon sticks. Simmer for 15 minutes, add the paste from one scraped vanilla bean and 12 oz sugar, dissolve and simmer for an additional ten minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool and bottle - makes 16 oz syrup. You can use the remaining syrup from your sangria

To prepare:
Combine all ingredients and chill overnight - serve in a large punch bowl with club soda

Les Miz Fizz

1.5 oz Belvedere Citrus
¾ oz Almond Syrup (Orgeat)
½ oz Fresh lemon juice
3 dashes Lavender bitters
¼ oz Egg white
Soda top

Directions: Dry shake then shake with ice and fine strain into a highball glass. Top with soda.
* Garnish with an lavender stalk

Pucker® Bold Berry Bling

1 1⁄2 parts Pucker® Vodka Raspberry Rave™
3 Fresh Blackberries
2-3 Fresh Basil Leaves
1 part Soda
1 part Lemon-Lime Soda

Directions:
Add ice to a cocktail shaker. Gently squeeze the juice from the blackberries and add the berries to the shaker.Tear basil into small pieces and add. Add vodka and shake vigorously. Add soda, lemon-lime soda and pour into a Collins glass.

MONSIEUR LE PRESIDENT
Inspired by “Lincoln” To celebrate an iconic American with a love of apples, a long, tall  cocktail mixing GREY GOOSE with two American favorites: apple  and cinnamon.

1½ parts GREY GOOSE vodka
½ part Applejack
½ part Freshly squeezed lime juice
½ part Cinnamon syrup
3 parts Cloudy apple juice

Directions:
Build in a highball filled with cubed ice. Garnish with a long, elegant cinnamon stick. 

The Starlet

1.5 oz Cuca Fresca Cachaça
.75 oz Cointreau
.5 oz Fresh Sour Mix
Splash Fresh Orange Juice
Splash Cranberry Juice

Directions: Combine all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice. Shake well and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a carambola slice.

The Showstopper

2 parts Skinnygirl™ Tangerine Vodka
Squirt of fresh lime
Squirt of fresh lemon
Squirt of fresh orange
Splash of Lemon-lime soda
Orange slice to garnish

Directions: Shake vodka, lime, lemon and orange juices with ice and strain into martini glass. Top off with a splash of lemon-lime soda and garnish with an orange slice.

Honest Abe

2 oz. Skyy Vodka
2 oz. tonic water
½ oz. lime juice
½ oz. simple syrup

Directions: Combine all ingredients except for the tonic water in a tall mixing glass. Add ice, shake and strain into a collins glass with fresh ice and top with tonic water. Garnish with raspberry and blueberry on a pick.
