#NYFW: 60 Seconds with Elie Tahari
In the spirit of New York Fashion Week, we fired off questions on F/W 2015 and fun personal facts to the designers showcasing their new collections this month. See what Elie Tahari had to say in this season’s “60 Seconds” Q&A.
The Fabulous Report (TFR): Tell us what we can expect from your collection?
Elie Tahari (ET):The collection will be a mix of fabrics, textures and colors. The inspiration is urban forest and like any great city and a forest there will be lots to see!
(TFR): Speaking of fashion week–what shoes get you through Fashion Week?
(ET): Always my Prada Sneakers!
(TFR):What are your plans for Valentine’s Day (if you can get away from work?)
(ET):I will be working on the finishing the looks for the presentation with the people I love who also work with me!
(TFR): What song are you embarrassed to have in your iTunes? Bad Girls by Donna Summers.
(ET):It’s One of my favorite songs, such a classic but not everyone agrees!
(TFR):What was the last movie that you saw made you cry?
(ET):Cinema Paradiso.
(TFR):You’re at brunch. Sweet or savory?
(ET):Savory
(TFR):If you had a time machine and could go back in time…
(ET):..the 70’s!
(TFR):What career would you have if you hadn’t become a fashion designer?
(ET): An Architect.
(TFR): Where was your last vacation?
(ET):Miami.
(TFR): Okay, its early but any hints on spring 2016?
(ET): Color!
