Trendseeder is Where You Find That Gown
With so many online shopping destinations finding the right–but more importantly–unique statement piece can be very difficult. Sure, you can surf Etsy.com hoping to find a gorgeous gown from an up and coming designer but lets be honest that’s not likely to happen. Let’s face facts.
If you are in the market for a site featuring well curated wares from emerging designers look no further than Trendseeder.com. Founded by siblings, Avani and Vik Patel, the website is different in that it offers designers a platform to showcase their designs. Essentially, Trendseeder.com “curates new designer collections throughout the month and acts as an incubator for designers,” reads the release. As part of the launch founders tapped Project Runway Season Six runner-up, Althea Harper, downtown men’s accessory aficionado Tony “Bo” Chan (founder of Bo Clothing), and Adornia, a modern girl’s jewelry line created by a former Lucky editor and her fashion-savvy partner in crime, to sell items from their collections on the site.
Additionally to celebrate the launch Trendseeder.com worked with a slew of talented designers and paired them with digital influencers including Runway Hippie, De Lune, Grease & Glamour, Dapper Lou and Scout Sixteen. Each designer then created a look based on the blogger’s individual style. The resulting look is produced and made available for purchase on the site.
“What you wear and how you present yourself are very personal decisions and a natural extension of your personality and character,” concludes founder Avani Patel. So right you are, Avani.
