Best News Ever: DKNY x Opening Ceremony Capsule Collection Is Happening
DKNY and Opening Ceremony are slated to create a limited-edition capsule collection. The 15 piece collection, which will go on sale this Friday at Opening Ceremony boutiques is select cities including New York and online, will consists of signature pieces from DKNY’s early Nineties archive.
You know what this means? Iconic items from the brands more important time can now be yours, including Logo frocks featuring DKNY famed New York landscape print. Items from the partnership include leggings, a hooded jumpsuit from 1991, a T-shirt with an image of the New York skyline from 1992, and a hooded logo dress as well as a color-blocked jumpsuit from 1994. Naturally, as an NYC kid, the idea that these DKNY items from the 90’s are available for purchase, is the best news ever.
“DKNY was a pioneer of streetwear fashion in the Nineties,” Carol Lim, Opening Ceremony cofounder, explains. “We have been longtime fans of the brand and were very excited to bring back select, quintessential styles that feel fresh even today,” Lim added.
